There are still days left, but we already know that from January 3 to 17, 2025 we will once again live the toughest and most interesting adventure in the world of motorsport. The new Dakar’s edition will take place in Saudi Arabia, where we’ll spend 14 intense days to go from Bisha to Shubaytah, where we’ll cross the finish line.
A Dakar was presented last May 19 in Les Comes (L’Esquirol). Pilots were able to test the vehicles they will drive in the next edition and all the participants in the event were able to experience and become familiar with the environment of the Dakar.
As a driver, I’m immensely grateful to South Racing for being able to test the new Can-Am Maverick and to ASO (Amaury Sport Organization) for the nice initiative of having organized this presentation in our country. I also want to congratulate Pep Vila for the wonderful organization of the event in Les Comes.
If we have to say some things about the new edition of the Dakar, we would highlight…
- The novelty of the joint start that will take place, like Le Mans, in the Empty Quarter Dunes
- The consolidation of the 48-hour stage, very demanding
- The novelty of the 5 stages in which the cars and motorcycles will follow different routes
We’re so excited about this adventure, we’re already training to face it in the best conditions.
