Gerard Farrés Güell

Gerard Farrés Güell. Gerard. ‘Farreti’ for motor lovers. But… who is hiding behind this name?

I am a positive, extroverted and restless person. It’s hard for me to be doing nothing. I always think about how I can improve, what I can do to make dreams come true. What can I do to help others. I love sports and ideas come to me while I am walking, pedaling or practicing any sporting discipline that is not linked to the motor.

My beginnings in the motor world are marked by an innate passion for motorcycles, by the fact of living in a town where I could drive freely and without obstacles and a little also by my father’s past, who had also raced motorcycles. I started competing at the age of 14 with the motorcycle that, with a lot of effort, my parents bought me and the encouragement they gave me. Throughout my sporting career I have been able to grow thanks to the RFME, motorcycle brands, sponsors… In short, thanks to many people who trusted me at the time. I am very grateful to each and every one of these people who supported me in my dream and who were there so I could grow and advance. To all of them, thank you very much!

And, obviously, I cannot forget my family, which is my source of inspiration, it is the energy that helps me move and advance every day. I am very aware that without your support it would not have been possible to dedicate myself to this world.

PASSION

PASSION

I have always been clear that gratitude, empathy, effort, dedication, professionalism and teamwork are some of the key values to achieve great challenges and for that reason I try to put them into practice every day, as well as transmit them to all the people who are involved. at my side and with whom I share profession and life.

I am an unconditional admirer of good people and, mainly, of those who dedicate part of their life and time to helping others and, for that reason, I always try to join foundations and solidarity projects, in order to contribute my grain of sand.
